How does our hands move?
Movement in our hand is mostly started by the muscles in our forearm.

  • Bones - Our hand is made out of 27 individual bones which are the 8 carpal bones, 5 metacarpal bones and 14 finger bones/phalanges.
  • Muscles - There are over 30 muscles in our hand, most of the muscle can be found on our palm. The movement in our hand is mostly started by the muscles in our forearm.
